Who is Sita?

Although Sita has no text of her own, the many versions of the Ramayana are a de-facto telling of her story. In India, she is always ‘Sita-Ram’, the feminine half of the ‘perfect’ marriage.

In this Satsang, we will look at Sita who was/is. As she emerges from the shadow of her famous husband (Rama), we’ll see a strong-minded woman who dared to step outside of the boundaries of acceptable society. She represents the spiritual seeker who has renounced convention and ‘stepped over the line’ to ask meaningful questions.
