Mauni-amavasya Satsang

  • Swami Saradananda (map)

Mauni Amavasya is an annual day dedicated to introspection; the intention is to tune to silence on all levels, so that the mind becomes calm. Mouna is more than simply not speaking.

To facilitate the calm, yogis practice silence of all the indriyas, as well as fasting (silence of digestion) and digital detox (unplugging from techniolgy and its constant flow of information).
