Join me, Swami Saradananda, at the start of Navaratri, the 9-night celebration of the divine feminine. Through story and meditation, we will look at this annual festival as representative of the yogic journey.
The first stage is purification, as represented by Durga/Kali. The second, nurturing and strengthening, is personified as Lakshmi. Only when you have cleansed your negative propensities and are strong enough, are you are ready to take the final step towards the reception of the light of wisdom, as personified by Saraswati.
